Position Purpose
This position is responsible for maintaining a relationship between the hiring communities who employ our students and the institution itself. This includes leading the professional and career development of students and graduates through coaching on subject areas such as resume packet writing, job search skills, and interviewing best practices, as well as through direct contact with employers with the aim of assisting each student in finding gainful, Campus Director of Career Services entry level employment in a program-related field.
Job Responsibilities
- Must have a professional background within the fields the school educates to create, cultivate, and maintain relationships with employers to increase student job placement potential.
- Make initial connections with students at New Student Orientation, outlining the goals and objectives of Career Services in relation to the goals and objectives of each student, in addition to providing relevant contact information and office hours.
- Conduct professional and career development workshops and seminars with regularity, as specified by the Corporate Office of Student Affairs.
- Assist recent graduates, alumni, and active students in career placement efforts in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable state and federal regulations, and all accrediting agencies’ standards and requirements.
- Visit each Career Development class to secure Exit Interviews with pending graduates.
- Organize and advertise several career events and employer events per year, as specified by the Corporate Office of Student Affairs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current professional organizations, certifications / requirements, and other industry standards in the school’s program areas.
- Cultivate successful partnerships with the local business community, creating an ever-growing network of employers with whom students and graduates may have the ability to interview for in-field employment.
- Maintain and manage Graduation and Employment charts / binders for all programs to ensure compliance with accrediting standards.
- Hold two (2) Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings per year, drawing educators and practitioners from the field together to offer input on potential program improvements; maintain relevant and specific meeting minutes; provide input from PAC meetings to Educators.
- Utilize the school’s electronic records system ( CampusNexus ) to document and track all communications with –and on behalf of – students, as well as to keep a detailed record of their employment or unavailable statuses, and to scan in all relevant supporting documentation. - Ability to draw and analyze data from an electronic records system for the purpose of producing various weekly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Participate in commencement ceremonies and related activities.
- Develop and maintain current job lists for active students and graduates.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Executive Director.
- In the case where a campus population is large enough to warrant multiple Career Services personnel, the Director of Career Services serves as the supervisor for other Career Services staff members.

The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including :
