What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at Aviation Inventory Resources?
AIR is looking for a Warehouse manager to oversee our warehousing and shipping and receiving processes as well as oversight over facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate is a regional airline / aviation industry professional. You understand there is a huge difference between "difficult" and "impossible". You must be comfortable making timely decisions based on experience and analysis and be able to discern between situations where you can wait to act until all information is known and situations where an immediate action is necessary, even in the fact of uncertainty. You must be comfortable with ever changing priorities inherent in aviation. The above said, you will have wide latitude in managing this part of our operation. As a member of our senior management team, you will have a say in the direction of our company. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, and we reward hard work and results. Responsibilities :
- Manage the inventory control process, including shipping, receiving, stocking and all warehouse functions
- Oversee all custom and other international shipping related matters
- Maintain collaborative relationship between AIR and our vendors
- Interface with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with all processes and procedures
- Oversee / coordinate facilities maintenance activities
- Interface with other functional teams including Sales, Repair Administration, Accounting and HR with a purpose of mutual benefit and respect (we all succeed or fail together)
- Mentorship and development of your team, which will include varying levels of experience
Qualifications :
This is a full-time, salaried position based out of our corporate headquarters just south of Mansfield, Texas. Your regular work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm. After a period of training, you will be required to join our rotating after hours on-call team. This includes nights, weekends and holidays.
