SUMMARY: The Manager, Repair Management is responsible for Cost of Goods Sold for component repair in order to achieve business margin goals and maintain competitiveness with market values for repaired materials. Collaborates with leadership to identify and deliver the required administrative support operations for the organization, including daily business operations, functions in Accounting, Purchasing, Supplier Management, Customer Service, Shipping & Receiving, Quality, and various other areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees Repair Management programs including those required by internal parties as well as third-party contractual relationships.
Coordinates directly with customers on receipts, material repair contracts, selection and monitoring of approved facilities, achievement of forecast volume, communication of lead times, pass down of ship dates and other required data.
Manages component repair suppliers to drive performance in key operational metrics including Supplier Turnaround Time, Supplier On-Time Delivery, Supplier Quality, and Cost of Goods Sold.
Communicates all required data to and from component repair suppliers and sellers of spare parts in support of ongoing operations and all third-party Repair Management programs.
Collaborates with Quality personnel to support the ATS Quality program including monitoring concerns and findings, internal and external audits, and performing documentation review.
Works with Finance to support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations including invoicing customers, processing payments, managing outstanding receivables, processing vendor invoices, payments, and managing returns, credits and billing discrepancies.
Ensures PMA material is received and inventory updates and cycle counts are performed.
Performs quote cost analysis in conjunction with Purchasing of supplier spare part and repair purchases.
Partners with external parties to deliver fulfillment of Sales Purchase Order including PMA, AOG, Repair and other customer orders.
Maintains shipping and receiving records in Quantum.
Ensures packaging and courier vendor support performance of Repair Management programs
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE:
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in aviation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum of three (3) years’ purchasing and supply chain management experience required.
Quantum ERP experience preferred.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Compensation
The base salary for this position is $97,000 – $144,000 (expressed as annualized for exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your salary will be based on factors such as skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors – we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
