Job Title: Student Event Coordinator
Location: Aviator College of Aeronautical Science & Technology (Fort Pierce Campus)

Job Overview:
Aviator College of Aeronautical Science & Technology is seeking a dedicated Student Services to oversee essential student services. This role is critical in supporting student success, maintaining compliance with ACCSC accreditation standards, and ensuring an exceptional student experience. The coordinator will be responsible for managing student engagement.
This is a full-time, on-site position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexibility is required for extended hours during student start dates, as well as availability to respond to urgent student housing matters during weekends, if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Services Coordination
- Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for students, providing guidance, support, addressing questions or concerns related to student services, and directing students to the appropriate department.
- Event Planning: Organize, coordinate, attend and oversee student engagement events and activities that promote campus community, social connection, and well-being. Such events include Graduation, Thanksgiving Luncheon, Veteran’s Day event, Constitution Day, and special events such as Game Night, Outdoor Movies, and BBQ Sports Tournaments.
- Coaching & Mentorship: Facilitate coaching sessions between instructors and students to offer support, encourage success, and address personal and academic challenges.
- New Student Orientation: Play an active role in the orientation process by completion and oversight of the following actions:
o Welcome new students, ensure housing accommodations are in order, and necessary items are included with corresponding room packages.
o Plan and provide breakfast or lunch during orientation.
o Review Enrollment Agreement with students.
o Schedule student meetings with the Registrar to review assigned classes for the upcoming term.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree required in Business Administration, Social Work, Education, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in student services, residential life
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of student services functions.
- Experience with student engagement/advising.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive student issues and emergencies with professionalism and discretion.

Work Schedule & Conditions
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-site only). Extended hours required during student start dates.
- On-Call Requirements: Must be available to respond to urgent emergencies on weekends and outside of normal business hours.
- Location: This position serves Aviator College campus in Fort Pierce
- Occasional Night / weekend shifts for scheduled events.
