Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring that incoming product is not used or processed until it has been inspected or otherwise verified as conforming components or materials.
Core Responsibilities
The receiving department inspects vendor's shipment packages for damages and verify that the number of packages received agrees with the vendor's bill of lading (BOL) paperwork.
Ensure chocks have been placed at the wheels of LTL's trailers.
The receiving coordinator must count each quantity before the shift ends and report any count discrepancies immediately to accounting. These discrepancies including any component with an expiration date less than one year and not listed on the purchase order will be noted on the receiving deviation ticket.
Check for contamination and expirations.
Utilize forklift to unload incoming pallets.
Perform any additional task required by leadership
Qualifying Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Forklift experience
