Description
The DirecTV Program Manager will be Avidex's DirecTV subject matter expert, and be responsible for administering all aspects of the reseller program with our clients including contract authoring, pricing, incentive determination, campaigns, contract compliance and program reporting. This position requires interaction with the customer, Avidex Account Executives (Sales), Avidex Operations, and DirecTV teams.
- Serve as the administrative Subject Matter Expert for DirecTV contract requirements. Be proficient in and work with rate plans, program incentives, program rebates and contractual documentation.
- Analyze existing DirecTV customer accounts to determine potential adjustments to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Secure new DirecTV commitment agreements through direct customer contact.
- Prepare DirecTV pricing and contract documents for inclusion by sales team in conjunction with new project sales.
- Provide customers with assistance related to DirecTV programming packages through consultation, research, and resolution.
- Assist Accounting with reconciliation of DirecTV master billing and recurring customer billing.
- Maintain visibility of DirecTV contract expirations, providing timely notification to Sales in advance of expiration.
- Prepare and maintain DirecTV rebate submissions.
- Prepare and submit monthly DirecTV installation forecast report.
- Process DirecTV customer activations, deactivations, suspensions, and reactivations as required.
- Manage monthly DirecTV commissioning process.
- Support service department as needed with DirecTV business issues.
Requirements
- Associate Degree required, preferably in Business, Communications, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Six (6) years of experience working in a customer service and/or sales support role, or ideally with a programming provider (e.g. DirecTV, Spectrum, Comcast, Dish, Verizon Wireless, etc.), preparing quotations and proposals for clients.
- Proven ability to complete monthly billing calculations, including incentives, rebates, and discounts.
- Should be proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PDF Editor, and DocuSign.
- Any experience with a CRM or ERP is highly desired, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience training others is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrates sound judgment in decision making, planning, and accomplishing goals.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage several different projects at a time with little supervision.
