Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Human Resources or General Manager (property-specific) and will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Human Resources Office.
Responsibilities :
- Direct and work with Human Resources employees to carry out the daily activities of the Human Resource Office
- Oversee recruitment, total compensation, training, and development
- Deliver HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Avion Hospitality operating procedures
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance to management and staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees and management on HR policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR management
Requirements
College coursework in related fields is helpful
At least 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a hotel or a related industry or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or a 2-year college degree and three or more years of related experience
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous supervisory responsibility required.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
