Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for an IBCS Software Program Integrator to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office, Mission Command Product Office (Msn Cmd PdO). This position is based in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Support Mission Command Product Office leadership on business, financial, contract, logistics, and technical management activities related to software product requirements, classified laboratory development environments, and lab management.
- Coordinate with PMO contracts, budget, acquisition, and systems engineering teams to develop independent cost estimates, contract requirement packages, acquisition strategies, and technical solutions.
- Assist the APM in planning and executing current and future budgets, managing funding reports (e.g., CCaR, MAR) in Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT), updating spend plans, and managing associated contract actions.
- Develop written and verbal communications for internal/external organizations, including weekly Situation Reports, Command and Staff charts, and updates to the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Manage and track IBCS hardware/firmware/software baselines per configuration, ensuring seamless integration with fielded units, test sites, and logistics.
- Codify user requirements and capability needs, track need dates, and link requirements to JIRA tickets in collaboration with Solution Architect, Solution Manager, and Integration Director.
- Provide periodic project reviews, manage risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain or improve project schedules.
- Coordinate IPTs, meetings, and working groups; develop briefings, agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Represent Mission Command Product Office leadership in the government leaders absence.
- Coordinate domestic and foreign disclosure requests and ensure products meet PMO information security standards.
- Develop and maintain historical archives of activities, briefings, and decisions to support leaderships institutional knowledge.
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or significant applicable experience.
- 10 years of applicable experience in business, financial, contract, and software management activities.
- Strong understanding and experience with Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle diverse tasks in a team environment.
- Ability to research data, analyze information, synthesize options, and make sound recommendations.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Army acquisition product or program management experience.
- Experience with Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems such as IBCS, Patriot, FAAD C2, Sentinel, LTAMDS, and Indirect Fire Protection Capability.
- Experience managing contractual deliverables.
- Familiarity with Atlassian software management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
