We are seeking a skilled Business Development Director to lead our Business Unit in achieving bookings, sales, and profit objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Driving consistent value creation through value-based pricing, productivity, and profitable new business
- Developing and executing a Business Unit strategy resulting in year-over-year growth
- Leading and guiding the business team in the pursuit of profitable new business and maintaining clear focus and priorities in the product team
This role requires strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of company customers and management staff.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or college
- 5 years total experience, which includes roles of increasing responsibility in sales, operations, finance, and/or engineering, with industrial experience preferred
- Experience leading direct reports and leading cross-functional teams
