The Avire Americas team is looking for a highly driven human resources professional intent on developing, deploying, and protecting the most important aspect of our business – our people! Your challenge is to continually develop internal talent, recruit exceptional talent, foster an inclusive and high performing culture, and partner with the Americas team to align on the strategic direction of the business. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation as an HR professional, love talent acquisition and possess a desire for increased responsibility.


What will you be doing?

  1. Support the U.S. business in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that fit with the overall global HR strategy and business direction
  2. Lead talent sourcing, recruitment, engagement, and retainment strategies to meet business needs
  3. Effectively communicate, establish trust, and maintain positive employee relations with all levels of management and employees
  4. Be a partner and resource to managers on HR related matters
  5. Champion the onboarding process by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date, providing clarity and connection for employees
  6. Ensure HR policies and practices are effectively communicated and compliant with all applicable local law/regulations
  7. Partner with Global Talent & Career Development Manager to create and deploy talent solutions and programs that support the professional growth of employees
  8. Promote an inclusive culture that focuses on diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and opinions
  9. Consult on a variety of complex employee relations issues such as corrective actions, policy violations and performance issues
  10. Develop and implement processes to facilitate organization changes and support with appropriate change management processes
  11. Establish and monitor HR related metrics for site
  12. Handle confidential matters with discretion
  13. Lead in a fast-paced environment open to experimentation and continuous improvement

Performance Objectives

  1. Improve U.S. engagement score – specifically areas related to career development and communication
  2. Conduct a talent review identifying talent gaps, high-potentials and critical roles required for acheivement of strategic growth objectives
  3. Increase the percentage of diverse candidates in the recruitment pipeline.
  4. Review and update HR policies and procedures inline with global HR
  5. Enhance U.S. culture, aligning to organizational values
  6. Implement next phase of Workday, identify Workday modules for future implementation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years progressive human resources experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • A minimum of 3 years of employee relations experience
  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • SHRM – CP certification preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to problem-solve
