About The Role
- Creates a welcoming environment by greeting patients and visitors
- Manages patient check-in and check-out processes
- Scheduling appointments for multiple providers
- Process insurance verifications (utilizing Waystar and other payer sites as needed).
- Explain and thoroughly communicates insurance benefits to patients
- Assess/updates patient demographics and insurance information as needed
- Handles inquiries regarding patient financial concerns
- Additional responsibilities assigned as needed
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree or higher preferred, especially in a health-related fieldÂ
- Two years' experience in a healthcare front office position required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsÂ
- Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality
- Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office computer skills with the ability to type 30 wpmÂ
- Ability to adapt to EMR functionality
- Experience in eClinical Works strongly preferred.Â
