Position Overview :
The Market Development Specialist (MDS) will play a critical role in supporting Avita Medical's sales initiatives by helping to promote and sell our advanced burn / wound care products. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, while ensuring that our products meet the needs of patients and medical providers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Support : Assist the sales team in generating opportunities, development of new potential targets, and driving sales growth for Avita Medical's product portfolio.
- Product Knowledge : Maintain a thorough understanding of Avita’s products, their benefits, and how they address specific clinical needs in wound care and tissue repair.
- Customer Engagement : Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare settings, including doctors, nurses, and purchasing managers.
- Product Demonstrations : Assist with product presentations and demonstrations to educate healthcare professionals on the features and advantages of our products.
- Sales Administration : Support sales activities by maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, product orders, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Market Intelligence : Gather insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to help refine sales strategies.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with the regional sales team and other departments, including marketing and customer service, to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Training & Development : Stay up-to-date on new product developments, industry trends, and reimbursement changes to continuously enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
