We currently have an opportunity to work with our Senior Manager, Corporate Events. In this role, the Event Coordinator, will be responsible for the administration and support of the events department within Aviva Canada. The Event Coordinator is accountable for handling and implementing administration tasks within the department and requests from business partners. Come join our team! What you'll do: Support multiple events simultaneously from inception to completion, all while prioritizing multiple demands and changing priorities Co-produce virtual events using event software to produce high-quality, seamless virtual events Responsible for handling internal systems for contracts and supplier approval, create purchase orders, and facilitate payments. Assist with client-facing conference(s), collaborating with other departments, build work-back schedules and ensure tasks and projects are completed on time while adhering to the event budget Administrative support including venue research for all events and conferences (road shows/special meetings/virtual events) Build and run online registration sites for in-person and virtual events Gather data to analyze Return on Investments for corporate client-facing conferences – highlighting areas of improvement and opportunities and submit results to Leadership Assess client feedback and submit findings to Leadership on a quarterly basis Maintain event related client information in the CRM (Salesforce) database What you'll bring: University or Post Graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or other related subject area 2 years of administration experience Sophisticated experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge and experience of Salesforce Very strong verbal and written communication skills to relay event details and requirements to internal and external participants Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail. Ability to work towards tight timescales Upbeat, hard-working, and proactive The ability to Identify new needs, and spot opportunities to improve business performance through new applications. Ability to work independently and in a team environment French language skills (written and verbal) an asset.
