About the Role :
The Materials Handler III will be primarily responsible for Contract Manufacturer materials management, shipping materials, inventory related tasks, supporting order fulfillment, and entering ERP transactions for a medical device company. The work environment is fast-paced and the need for quality and accuracy are critical. The ability to keep pace, see problems in advance and still maintain the highest work standards are required.
What you'll do :
Picking, Shipping & Fulfillment
- Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers (CM) to review any materials demand and shipping schedules needed to maintain clear to build expectations.
- Pick materials, as directed, for shipments to Contract Manufacturers (CM)
- Arrange, prepare paperwork and monitor international shipment across the organization, including shipment of lithium ion batteries.
- Review / sign-off finished shipments and perform packaging activities
- Help pick materials for manufacturing work orders as needed
- Support the fulfillment department to pick, pack and ship customer orders
- Transact / transfer materials within the ERP system.
- Other duties as assigned
