Brief Description
We are seeking a Contract Compliance Specialist to support our contracting operations by reviewing and managing contract pricing, commissions, chargebacks, and rebates to ensure SOX compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies through audit, testing and process documentation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance by identifying risks, documenting processes, and supporting audit activities. The specialist collaborates with internal contracting, internal audit, and finance teams to enhance compliance efficiency and mitigate risks. The specialist will also assist with cross-training and act as a backup to the Contract Administration Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Must be able to travel as required with the ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Work environment is usually performed in a home, office or customer setting. Lift and carry product computer material weighing up to 15 lbs. Requires use of a computer, copier, fax, phone and other standard office equipment. Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment. Body motor skills sufficient to move from one location to another.
Travel
Occasional travel (up to 10%) for audits, training, or compliance meetings.

The specialist collaborates with internal contracting, internal audit, and finance teams to enhance compliance efficiency and mitigate risks. The specialist will also assist with cross-training and act as a backup to the Contract Administration Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external audit to support compliance reviews and requests.
- Review and complete monthly audit reports.
- Collaborate with Oracle programmers and contracting team to establish best practices with internal audit.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive process documentation related to contract compliance.
- Work with stakeholders to document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce compliance risks.
- Stay informed of contract compliance regulations, industry standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Cross train with Contract Administration Manager to be a back-up.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have excellent computer skills with specific emphasis on data bases and data base management. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word. Experience in Oracle is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in contract compliance, audit, SOX audit, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance, regulatory frameworks is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion.
- Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
- Must pass background and drug screen.
