Our shop is looking for a dedicated and organized Service Writer to join our team. If you have a passion for cars, excellent communication skills, and a knack for keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customer with a friendly demeanor, manage the front desk, including answering calls and assisting with inquiries.
- Manage and schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate with customer to understand their vehicle issues and concerns.
- Prepare estimates for customers using auto estimating software.
- Update customers on the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries and issues regarding service work.
- Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies, as needed.
- Foster a team-oriented environment with open communication.
- Work diligently to increase customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized office, performing light cleaning duties once a week.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years working in customer service or administrative position.
- Familiarity with automotive industry is a huge plus, but not required.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
- Friendly, approachable, and capable of building positive customer relationships.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on commitments.
- Some understanding of cars and repairs is essential to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.
- Loyal, respectful, and works well in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, honest, and possesses a strong work ethic.
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
