Assigned Workday Calendar: 206 days (School Year Days)
Job Status: Full-Time - 40 Hours per Week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 Hours Daily
Benefits: Full-time positions are eligible for medical, dental insurance as well as supplemental benefits such as vision, life insurance, disability, etc. Eligible for PERF Retirement.
Paid Time Off Benefits: Eligible
Holiday Pay: Eligible
Qualifications
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Qualifications
- Education: High school education is required. Advanced training is preferred.
- Certification: None is required, but certification through training and professional associations is desirable.
- Experience: None is required, but office experience is preferred.
- Skills and Knowledge: In human relations, secretarial practices, machine operations, computer operations, Microsoft word/excel, Windows and data processing are required.
- Other: Ability to maintain a positive relationship with pupils, staff, parents, and the community.
- Perform receptionist duties such as answering telephones, responding to emails, serving visitors and assisting students as needed.
- Manage student registration process and assist parents with enrollment documentation and forms.
- Request and maintain accurate student records including academic, attendance, test results and personal information.
- Work as a team with other departments to accurately relay information to SpEd teachers and multi-lingual liaisons for new enrollees.
- Complete withdrawal process for students and maintain communication with the receiving school for timely transfer of records.
- Assist parents with the withdraw process.
- Maintain confidentiality by protecting sensitive student information.
- Prepare, process and distribute report cards and year-end transcripts.
- Process end of year honor roll for award ceremony.
- Assist with K-5 schedule preparation and homeroom assignments.
- Manage communications with parents via ParentSquare.
- Answer student questions and assist with student needs.
- Monitor students sent to office.
- Provide secretarial support to principal, counselors and teachers as needed.
- Assist with appointment scheduling for building and staff.
- Deliver messages and items to classrooms as needed.
- Communicate via radio to administrators, custodians and school nurse when appropriate.
- Oversee distribution of student passes before and during school.
- Be an example of exemplary adult behavior for students. Project a genuine care and concern for all students.
- Participate in professional development, as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
