We are looking for our next best Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our amazing team!
Avon Lake Animal Clinic is an AAHA accredited hospital providing 24/7 small and companion animal care. We also care for exotic and pocket pets. With over 60 years of service to our community, we require motivated and energetic team members who possess great attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. We are a fast paced 16-doctor practice located on our full-service pet health campus which also includes a daycare/boarding facility and pet grooming salon and boutique. Flexible scheduling with both part-time and full-time positions available. Rotating weekend shifts and occasional holiday shifts required to ensure our patients are able to receive emergency care 365 days a year.

Responsibilities include:
Filling prescriptions for in-house patients and those from appointments
Maintaining pharmacy email and voicemail accounts, handling client needs
Ordering inventory for the hospital as needed to ensure supplies needed are readily available
Managing controlled substances including inventory, ordering, logging and preparing for patients
Working with our DVM, technician and reception team to provide first-rate customer care
Calculating pharmaceutical dosages and knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Requirements: PTCB Certification
