Part-Time Accountant
Location: The Promenade, Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ

The Promenade, a vibrant beachfront restaurant in Avon-by-the-Sea, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a dynamic hospitality environment and has a strong background in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Position Details:

• Part-time: Approximately 15-20 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule with potential for some remote work.
• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
