We are seeking an Accountant to join our team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly closing cycles including journal entries, account reconciliations and consolidation of 3 entities.
Preparation of monthly sales and use tax records for submission to corporate tax department.
Analyze and prepare monthly account reconciliations, including appropriate support of balances.
Responsible for accounts receivable duties for U.S. company and intercompany accounts.
Assist routine bank transactions and reconciliations
Assist with accounts payable duties for U.S. company and intercompany accounts.
Review purchasing activity to ensure correct charge codes are assigned to purchase requisition.
Support internal and external audit engagements.
Maintain GL Accounts and Cost Centers to ensure proper classification of journal entries
Perform monthly depreciation expense
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Your Qualification Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Sufficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
3 years of experience working in a similar role
Expert in Excel
High attention to detail and sensitive to deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Expert in ERP software experience (SAP S4-Hana)
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a face paced environment
Excellent oral, written and inter-personal communication skills
Minimal travel may be required
