Purpose of Position:
We are currently in search of a highly motivated Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer who will be responsible for driving the improvement of manufacturing and other business processes. The ideal candidate will utilize lean manufacturing principles and other improvement concepts to reduce waste and optimize operational efficiency across the business. As a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be expected to use lean tools and concepts to analyze Value Streams processes to identify areas for improvement. Furthermore, you will play a key role in devising and implementing improvement measures to for safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity within the organization. The ideal candidate will train and mentor staff at all levels of the organization on continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and best practices to sustain continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing operational productivity, reducing costs, preventing defects and improving product quality.
• Analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for optimization of process flow.
• Use Lean to drive improvements in production, and other business processes.
• Lead Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions to engage employees in improvement activities.
• Conduct value stream mapping, develop improvement plans and implement lean manufacturing.
• Serve as a resource and champion for process improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Work with all levels of employees to identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions, and implement change.
• Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in continuous improvement and lean methodologies and tools.
• Staying up to date with best practices.
• Create and maintain an environment of continuous improvement by actively managing Kaizens Able to work across manufacturing sites as needed to facilitate Kaizen.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or other related fields
• Demonstrated experience in working with operations to achieve continuous improvement results
• Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality results, and continual improvement
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or other related fields

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $93,000.00 to $127,000.00 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
