What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP/AR Specialist position at Avondale Group?
creating client advocates and assist in all areas of the Accounting department as needed.
Reconciles all cash clearing accounts daily
Deposits all extended warranty checks
Posts and reconciles all credit card transactions
Prepares and mails all checks for returned parts, or overages on repair orders
Maintains inventory list of all records stored off-site
Requests and sends records stored off-site
Responsible for Accounts Payable (A/P) filing every third week
Responsible for reconciling and paying a quarter of the corporate credit card statements
Knows and understands the Avondale Group and Information Security Policies, and adhere to
the requirements
Attends weekly department meetings

Accounting Specialist
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in a Cashier, Accounts Payable, and/or Accounts Receivable
position is preferable but not required.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook
