As a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) consultant, you will play a key role in driving our mission forward.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a study team in exploring the application of CPI principles and methods in AOME courses.
- Develop and implement effective CPI strategies to improve Air Force databases and resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize process improvements.
- Design and implement process maps, visuals, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain guides and standards for future SMEs and lay individuals.
- Other duties as assigned by the Primary Investigators to meet study aims and prepare study deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
- Green belt in continuous process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, or military CPI).
- Experience with process mapping software (MS Visio or LucidChart).
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Experience with MS Office applications (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Acrobat).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and complete tasks independently.
- Organizational skills, goal achievement, initiative, and professionalism.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Black belt in continuous process improvement.
- Research project management or assistance experience.
- Governmental or military research experience.
