Job Summary
Seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist/Office Assistant for a family-owned small business. This role is essential in providing exceptional front desk support and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, strong phone etiquette, and the ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, typing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Handle incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls as necessary.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar office administrative role is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and office procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
