Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Master Planner to join our team. This role offers hands-on challenges and opportunities for growth as you work with a diverse array of parts in a supportive, results-driven environment. The Master Planner is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring jobs to maintain maximum efficiency while ensuring adherence to our quality standards and on-time delivery. Maintaining proper inventory levels and promoting customer satisfaction is critical to the success of this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper workflow and material availability.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is replenished according to demand and production needs.
- Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts to maintain efficiency.
- Analyze production data and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support the overall manufacturing process to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a manufacturing discipline preferred.
- 3 years of progressive planning/scheduling experience in an ISO 9001-certified machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with scheduling software; Job BOSS experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) or similar planning systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act proactively.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
