Job Description:
The principal purpose of this position is to plan and prioritize the production of finished product as well as printed product to meet our customers’ requirements. This would include material resource planning, providing timely and efficient schedules to the shop floor, and prioritizing shop orders. In addition, the Planning position is responsible for providing capacity models and production plans to reflect our current business needs and expectations.

- Work with Customer Service, Manufacturing and Shipping to provide highest level of service to our customers.
- Develop efficient and effective resourcing plan to meet customer requirements. Review releasable orders report and ORDA51 to filter out new customer demand.
- Efficient use of BPCS and TWS, good communication skills with various departments and various levels of the organization.
- Rely on each level of planners: Raw materials, Printing, and Product Line for complete and accurate information.
- Provide daily Production Schedules and deliver them to appropriate departments.
- Develop Production Plans in order to predict staffing efficiently.
- Provide manufacturing with the materials necessary to produce the items on their schedules.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have strong BPCS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills
- Have strong communication skills with all levels within the organization and customers.
- Have the ability to look ahead at what’s on the horizon and planning accordingly.
- Have the skill to react physically and mentally to urgent matters, last minute requests and opportunities in less than normal lead time situations.
- Must have a Associates Degree – Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Have in-depth knowledge of MRP concepts
- Have at least 3 years prior experience in Manufacturing; Packaging/Foodservice background also helpful.
This position is a non-exempt salary position. Regular hours are from 7AM-3:30PM. Overtime may be required when necessary.
Salary starts at $52,500 , depending on experience.
