Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the safety of all team members, optimizing efficiency, and driving production across multiple manufacturing sites to deliver seamless production and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
Team Safety Take ownership of creating a safe work environment for all team members. Participate in Safety Committee and ensure completion of all manufacturing improvements / requirements.
Leadership Provide leadership and guidance to the operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning and improvement.
Strategic Planning Using the company’s Visions, Values, Priorities, and AMP Pillars, develop and implement operational strategies to enhance production efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
Resource Allocation Optimize resource allocation including manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production targets and budget constraints.
Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives across all production sites.
Risk Management Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and minimizing downtime.
Team Communication Along with the Managers, Supervisors, and Leads, provide timely feedback and communication with all operations team members on company updates (Vision, Values, Priorities, KPI’s) as well as team and individual progress / development needs.
Data Driven Utilize data-driven approaches to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of manufacturing issues. Develop, measure, monitor, and drive actions to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for operations (Safety, FPY%, OTD%, Schedule Adherence, Efficiency %, DOI, etc) Provide regular reports to senior management on KPI’s and improvement action plans.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or related field.
(preferred) Master’s Degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or related field.
Ability to effectively manage and drive positive change in a matrix environment.
Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving initiatives across multiple sites.
Proficiency in managing supply chain activities to ensure efficient logistics, inventory control, and supplier relationships for all locations.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills using data and structured problem-solving techniques (SSBB preferred).
5 years in a senior operations management role within a manufacturing environment, overseeing multiple production sites
(preferred) M&A due-diligence / post-acquisition integration
Microsoft Office Suite
(preferred) SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with data analysis tools (IE Excel, Tableau, etc…) to analyze performance metrics, trends, and KPI’s
