What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper position at AW Smith LLC?
We are a CPA firm that specializes in tax, accounting, and payroll services for small businesses and individuals.
Our firm is seeking a detail oriented individual to join our team. We are looking for someone looking to work more during February through mid-April and part time hours during the remainder of the year. The ability to multi-task and being responsive to clients is essential. Strong communication and customer services skills and ability to meet deadlines important.
Responsibilities for the administrative position include, but not limited to the following:
- Assembling client tax returns either paper or electronically
- Perform administrative duties that may include but not limited to photocopying, coordinating meetings/appointments, typing, faxing, maintaining supplies, and preparing mail
- Handle incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff
- Payroll data entry and sales or bank reconciliations
- Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- May include lifting up to 50lbs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
