Job Overview
Awe-Inspiring‘s Pediatric Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is looking for ideal team members to serve as a Licensed Child Care Administrator to ensure pediatric resident documentation supports the services rendered. Licensed Child Care Administrators (LCCA) must exceed the State requirements as set forth by DFPS.
Responsibilities
- Ensure pediatric resident charts and files contain all required forms with appropriate signature, dates, progress notes, demographics sheets, critical incidents, annual psychiatric evaluations, annual psychological evaluations, medical reports, pediatrician and all other documentation as required by DFPS.
- LCCA is directly responsible for successfully passing all audits, monitoring reviews, DFPS state unannounced visits, etc
- Supervise staff and ensure Direct Care CNA’s engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Assist with creating and implementing individualized care plans that cater to each child's unique needs.
- Maintain a healthy, safe and clean environment for pediatric residents at all times.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members regarding pediatric resident progress and/or decompensation.
- Manage daily schedules, including meal times, nap times, and recreational activities.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help children develop social skills.
- Collaborate with other interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent care and support.
- Document children's activities and progress as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services Field with a total of two years management experience working with Pediatric Residents with a history of emotional distress, emotional disorders, physical abuse, sexual abuse and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- must possess a valid, current & active LCCA license in good standing.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with children and their families effectively.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing schedules and care plans.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support children's growth and well-being.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
- Must Pass FBI Fingerprint Background Checks, Misconduct Registry Checks, Criminal Background Checks and Sex Offender Checks
