Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including otolaryngologists, to provide integrated care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology related to audiology.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to auditory systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service while addressing patient needs.
- Experience with computerized systems for patient management and record keeping.
- Familiarity with collaboration sales techniques to promote audiological products effectively.
- Knowledge of otolaryngology principles as they relate to audiological health.
