Job Overview
We are looking to add to our teams in Beloit and Janesville. The ideal candidate will hold a doctor of Audiology degree and have at least one year hearing aid dispensing experience, though we will consider new grads as well.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations to assess hearing loss and need for amplification
- Work in a team environment, sharing duties as required by the practice
- Fit, dispense, and provide counseling on the use of hearing aids and other auditory devices.
- Perform cerumen removal
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress.
- Educate patients and their families about hearing health, prevention strategies, and available resources.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in computerized systems for patient management and record keeping.
- knowledge and experience with REM and PC based audiometer.
- Knowledge of multiple hearing aid manufacturers, though training will be provided.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Strong sales skills for promoting audiological products and services effectively.
- Leadership abilities to guide support staff and contribute to team dynamics.
- Familiarity with office procedures related to healthcare settings.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong customer service orientation to foster positive patient relationships.
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to audiology practices.
