Job Description
Under the direction of the Director and Assistant Director, the Overnight Caregiver is responsible for the following areas:
Maintain safety and ensures the welfare of all enrolled children, supervision of children during night care.
Monitor children as they sleep.
Assist in the maintenance of appropriate standards for children's discipline and behavior standards using non-punitive methods.
Develops and maintains professional relationships with classroom teachers, program coworkers, families, and other staff members.
Able to lift 20 lbs.
Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Submit to an approved criminal background check prior to employment or assignment with no adverse findings.
Submit to an Abuse and Neglect Central Registry check with no findings of admission to, substantial evidence of or convictions of child abuse or neglect.
Obtain CPR and First Aide Certification and re-certify as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Preferred.... At least 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
2. Current CPR & First Aid
3. In-Depth knowledge of childcare licensing minimum standards
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
