Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will execute documents, monitoring construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with Senior Estimator on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates.
- Work with estimator to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
- Performs other duties assigned.
- Communicate directly with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners
- Determine scopes of work and assist with all estimates · Maintain various estimating and project logs
- Distribute required information and supply subcontractors with project information as needed
Requirements
- Some Experience in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience or coursework in construction estimating is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
