What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renewable Energy Monitoring Technician position at AWS Truepower?
As a Renewable Energy Monitoring Technician with AWS Truepower, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our solar monitoring systems. Your primary responsibility will be to perform weekly maintenance tasks at one of our remote locations, located near Union City, PA. This position requires excellent communication skills, as you will serve as the first point of contact for any issues that arise with the equipment.
The specific duties of this position include:
- Ensuring all equipment is level and clean on a weekly basis
- Providing troubleshooting and repair services for low-to-medium complexity issues
- Verifying that the system is secure and has not been tampered with
- Climbing and working comfortably from a 6 or 8-foot ladder (provided)
You will also be required to upload an Excel logbook and photos to our SharePoint website each week, detailing your activities and any issues encountered. This position requires reliable transportation and a willingness to work independently.
