Pine County, Minnesota, is a leader in renewable energy technology. UL Solutions is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team.
Our goal is to install and maintain a single solar monitoring system (SMS). This state-of-the-art system monitors the solar resource, meteorological parameters, and weather-related data.
The successful candidate will be responsible for weekly maintenance, ensuring consistent and accurate data collection over a minimum of 1 year and maximum 2 years.
Main duties include:
- Ensuring all equipment is level and clean on a weekly basis;
- Providing troubleshooting support from UL Solutions and performing repairs for low-to-medium complexity issues;
- Maintaining the site by removing debris, such as grass, snow, or brush, depending on the location;
- Verifying the system's security and integrity.
Maintenance visits should take approximately 45-90 minutes, including travel time to and from the site. The entire process requires 2-4 hours per week, including travel time.
