Title: Growth Marketing Specialist – Paid Media & Strategy
Reports To: Sr. VP of Ecom and Digital Marketing
Location: In-Office – New York City (Hybrid - No Remote)
We are seeking a Growth Marketing Specialist to be the primary liaison between our brand and external paid advertising agency, ensuring strategic alignment, campaign effectiveness, and seamless communication. This role is essential in guiding our agency’s efforts, ensuring that paid media strategies reflect brand objectives, align with key promotions, and drive measurable business growth. The Growth Marketing Specialist will also work cross-functionally with internal teams, including creative, merchandising, and performance marketing, to maintain a data-driven approach to advertising success.
Salary: $75k - $90k
Key Responsibilities:
1. Paid Media Strategy & Agency Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our paid ads agency, ensuring they are updated on brand initiatives, product launches, and business goals.
- Collaborate with the agency to analyze ad performance, optimize media spend, and drive revenue growth across Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and emerging platforms.
- Communicate strategic directives to ensure ad creatives, targeting, and messaging align with performance goals and broader marketing objectives.
- Keep leadership informed with regular reporting on agency performance, KPIs, and growth strategies.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
- Act as the connector between the agency, creative team, and internal marketing teams to ensure ad campaigns are aligned with brand objectives and promotional calendars.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure the delivery of high-converting ad assets that adhere to platform best practices.
- Partner with the merchandising team to integrate new product launches, seasonal collections, and key promotions into paid media plans.
3. Performance Tracking & Data-Driven Optimization
- Analyze key performance indicators (CTR, CVR, ROAS, CAC, etc.) to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
- Regularly review campaign performance with the agency to ensure budgets are allocated efficiently and optimizations are implemented proactively.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards in Google Sheets/Excel and present performance insights to internal teams using Google Slides.
4. Trend Analysis & Competitive Insights
- Stay ahead of industry trends in performance marketing and consumer behavior, particularly in fashion eCommerce.
- Monitor competitor strategies and recommend data-backed opportunities to enhance paid advertising efforts.
- Proactively suggest A/B tests, new ad formats, and platform innovations to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years experience in growth marketing, paid media strategy, or digital advertising (preferably in fashion, beauty, or eCommerce).
- Strong understanding of Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads, including creative best practices and performance metrics.
- Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams to execute and optimize campaigns.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make optimization recommendations.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for data analysis, Asana for project management, and Google Slides for reporting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Passion for digital marketing, consumer trends, and scaling revenue through paid media strategies.
