We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing pest control services for residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of pest management techniques, the ability to operate various tools and machinery, and excellent customer service skills. The Pest Control Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure effective pest management solutions.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored pest management solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up visits.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and the importance of ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry best practices and new pest control technologies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with lawn care, landscaping, or farm operations is a plus.
- Ability to drive to various job sites and operate company vehicles safely.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to pest control services.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A valid driver’s license is required; a clean driving record is required.
- Must be 21 or older to apply.
- Pest control experience is preferred but not necessary. Training provided.
