AX9 Security, Inc. is looking for two dedicated and professional unarmed security guards to join our team in Moonachie, NJ. This full-time position pays $18.00 per hour and is available for the 8 AM to 4 PM and 10 AM to 6 PM shifts. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be able to monitor security systems effectively while ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras to ensure site security and report any suspicious activity
- Answer and make phone calls professionally, providing clear and accurate information when needed
- Maintain detailed logs and reports, including incident reports, visitor logs, and any security-related activities
- Utilize Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for report documentation and site-specific tasks
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of personnel and property
- Collaborate with team members and site management to maintain a secure work environment
- Assist with access control, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have an active guard card
- Basic computer skills – must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- CCTV monitoring experience – ability to review and analyze security footage
- Strong phone communication skills – must be able to answer and relay information professionally
- Excellent note-taking skills – ability to document incidents and maintain accurate records
- Reliable transportation – must have a dependable way to get to and from work
- Team-oriented mindset – ability to work effectively with security staff and warehouse personnel
- Must be available for last-minute call-outs if another guard is unable to work
- Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
