Location: Brooklyn, NY
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time Security Guard
Shifts: 4PM-12AM / 12AM-8AM/ Weekends also available
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to work in a residential building that provides housing for individual in substance abuse recovery and their families. Your role is essential in maintaining safety, enforcing rules, and fostering a secure, respectful environment for all residents.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor facility premises and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Ensure all visitors follow sign-in/sign-out procedures during your assigned shift.
- De-escalate tense situations using verbal communication and crisis intervention techniques.
- Respond to emergencies and collaborate with medical and mental health professionals.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
- Conduct routine security checks and document incidents accurately.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Prior security experience preferred
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle crisis situations effectively.
- Valid NYS security license
