E-commerce Functional Test Lead

As an Ecommerce Functional Test Lead, you will be responsible for analyzing EPICS/user stories and their acceptance criteria to create and refine acceptance criteria and define a suite of manual/automated test scripts. You will design a test strategy that aligns with the program’s SDLC approach and develop and maintain test plans, cases, and report/manage defects and issues. Additionally, you will document testing tools, processes, and methodologies used, facilitate knowledge-sharing among testers and maintain a central repository for testing artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to understand how all elements of the Nimbus (E-commerce user interface) and Salesforce software ecosystem work together and develop a test-driven approach with automation that fits the overall strategy.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to Salesforce applications.
• Execute tests, log defects, and provide detailed reports on test results and issues.
• Define a suite of automation test scripts for the rollout of our new e-commerce platform that is powered by Salesforce.
• Empowered to identify, execute, and communicate opportunities for improvement in quality testing throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required with a concentration in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

Preferred:

• Experience in Writing Test Plans, Test Cases and keep updated as required.
• Experience with Salesforce, ideally Commerce cloud.
• Experience with testing integrations between Salesforce and other systems (APIs, data connectors).
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities.
• Highly organized.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
