Pre-employment Qualifications and Special Considerations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
- Live within driving distance of our headquarters in Fleetwood, PA
- Willingness to travel (possibly extended periods)
- We are a drug-free workplace. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- 3 years experience as a welder (TIG welding) and pipefitter in an industrial setting preferred
- Plan layout, install, maintain and repair all types of pipe fittings and fixtures according to blueprints
- Select pipe sizes, types, or related materials, such as supports, hangers or hydraulic cylinders
- Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings or related equipment by welding, brazing, cementing soldering or threading joints
- Inspect, examine, or test installed system or pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing or other methods as required
- Proficient in using various measuring tools to establish position or configuration of plans
- Follow all safety guidelines set by OSHA, Axcess Industries, and the client
- Work as part of a team under the direction of the Field Foreman to complete various mechanical and welding tasks as necessary for the overall successful completion of the job
