Axela Management is hiring! This is your opportunity to join an energetic and rapidly growing company. The Leasing Consultant is the property’s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, to present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned property and properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales
- Serve as the primary leasing consultant at multiple assigned properties, managing prospective resident inquiries, tours, and lease signings.
- Meet or exceed leasing goals by effectively marketing available units and highlighting property features and amenities.
- Assist in developing creative leasing strategies to drive occupancy at properties experiencing lower demand.
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional service to prospective and current residents, addressing inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly environment to ensure positive resident relations.
Administrative Duties
- Accurately complete and process leasing paperwork, applications, and lease renewals in accordance with Axela Management standards.
- Ensure all leasing and marketing efforts are documented in property management software, such as Appfolio.
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis as required.
Property Support
- Assist in setting up and maintaining model units, leasing offices, and common areas at each property.
- Work with onsite teams to prepare for move-ins, coordinate resident events, and handle retention initiatives.
- Support property teams during peak times or staff shortages, stepping into various operational roles as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience (multifamily, student housing, or commercial properties preferred).
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in property management software (experience with Appfolio is a plus).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Travel: Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between properties.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
