ASAP Role, Will be required to be on site all 5 days during training and once manager feels that candidate has good understanding of role then will consider hybrid schedule 3 days in office 2 days from home. Needs Strong Excel knowledge , experience with Data Analysis and be able to work in Fast paced environment. This is an annual recurring seasonal temporary role. Required to perform daily international stock loan activities . If this role isn't filled or adequately staffed, this can result in overflow of work and market exposure for stock loan and prime brokerage clients due to activities not being actioned timely ; can result in a distinct P&L charged to the firm for failing bookings/settlements. Initiative / Project Name: Contractor for Div season The stock loan analyst plays an integral role in the support of our institutional trade desks. The position includes providing operational support to the BU and Clients directly on borrow/lending comparison, trade matching, collateralization and break research. Providing settlement status to client intra-day of Equity and Bond trades, coordinating with internal counterparts to confirm settlement status for all current day transactions between MLPFS and MLI and street counterparts. Role includes interaction with the Front Office Business Unit other internal GMO&MO support departments such as Trade Processing, Settlement, Corporate Actions and Operations Risk management. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to : processing mark to markets, processing returns and new borrows, moving collateral to and from agent lenders/banks and Providing status of all trades for client currently Unaffirmed by contra party, providing detailed status of all failing trades and conduct research in regards to reclaims, erroneous trade bookings and settlements . Other responsibilities include internal reconciliation and fail research of all broker to broker transactions, following up with clients/contra brokers directly to resolve aged fails. Trade Support and/or Global Markets, Financial Services experience Expert Excel knowledge High level of attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability and willingness to continuously learn on the job.
