Global Financial Firm located in Tampa, FL has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Technical-Governance & Oversight Lead
"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.

Consent Order – Governance and Oversight
The role is for an experienced, hands-on IT professional who is skilled in management of Technology Book of Work while adhering to mandated policies and procedures for governing and reporting on status of Tech Initiatives and management of risks and issues including associated mitigation plans. This role will liaise with many senior stakeholders and multiple teams to obtain the needed information to drive the Tech BOW Initiative management and/or the Change Management process. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a strong understanding of Client policy and procedures that guide governance of a Technology Strategic Work Efforts
• Ensure compliance with Strategic Work Efforts policy and procedures mandated by Client Program Management Council (CPMC)
• Drive timely and comprehensive updates for status, Critical Success Criteria (CSC), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), risks, issues and Path to Green for the Technology Data BoW Key Initiative
• Ensure timely remediation of any findings identified by governing bodies like Organizational Program Management Office (OPMO) and/or the Client Program Management Council (CPMC)
• Develop a strong understanding of the Consent Order plan, milestone linkages and inter dependencies and leverage that knowledge for assigned areas.
• Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior management.
• Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Partner, collaborate and work with other areas within Client, as necessary, to come up with the best solutions/decisions.
• Influence diverse stakeholders at various levels of seniority without direct reporting relationships to ensure appropriate response and sense of urgency.
Knowledge and Skills:
• 10 years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology with a focus on governance (Must Have)
• Demonstrated ability to drive change management processes (Must Have)
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel (Must Have)
• Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized (Must Have)
• Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills (Must Have)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging (Must Have)
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
• Strong leadership skills and influencing capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work on tools and process that help track Technology Book of Work
• Ability to work in a fast moving and complex environment with proactive demeanor to pick-up complex and new topics and deliver on them.
• Ability to understand risk-reward, provide diplomatic challenge to stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work.
• Comfort navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations.
• Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility
• Process mapping, consulting, audit skills are desirable.
• Financial services and Regulatory reporting experience is a Plus.
• US Financial Regulatory reporting process understanding is a plus.
Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
