Job Title : Document Control Specialist
Location : Pittsburgh, PA
Job Summary :
The primary function of the Document Control Specialist is to ensure the quality and integrity of data management while supporting project teams and ensuring compliance with Engineering Services standards.
Responsibilities :
- Accountable for the implementation of existing document control specifications .
- Track Engineering, Contractor, and Vendor deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including recording revisions, revision purposes, distribution, and transmittal histories .
- Ensure reliability, retrievability, and traceability of officially transmitted project data in accordance with Document Control standards and specifications .
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence in a timely manner.
- Generate and update Supplier and Contractor Document Registers , maintaining accurate metadata fields.
- Implement and manage squad check documentation following procedure and distribution matrices.
- Prepare and submit accurate status reports based on metadata designations at the required project-specific frequency.
- Align with Document Control standards , ensuring that any project-specific deviations are traceable and controlled.
- Provide backup document control support for other projects as needed.
