We are seeking an experienced I&C Engineer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. The successful candidate will work on evaluating modifications to the plant design and collaborating with a cross-functional team of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing engineering products (e.g., Design / Engineering Change packages, Specifications, Calculations, Technical Evaluations)
• Ensuring consistency and compliance with industry standards through overseeing contracted engineering work
• Providing technical support and input for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing and Simulations
• Collaborating with the primary equipment supplier and project stakeholders to support technical reviews and input
• Analyzing engineering risk and failure modes and incorporating mitigating strategies in the designs
• Reporting and presenting status to engineering team lead, project managers, and management team on a periodic basis
• Supporting construction / implementation phase (e.g., design updates, field change evaluations, resolution of technical issues)

Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong background in Electrical, Computer, or I&C Engineering fields
• Experience with nuclear power plant design, systems, and components
• Specification, technical, engineering writing ability
• MUST have Design Qualification - Please ensure this is clear and on the candidate CV
• Nuclear Operations experience (SRO/STA)
• 50.59 (or equivalent)
• Engineering specification qualification

Estimated Salary Range
$120-$140 per hour, based on a 12-month contract.
