About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Nuclear Power Plant Engineer to join our team at the Chesapeake Professional Development Group, LLC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Electrical, Computer, or I&C Engineering and experience with nuclear power plant design, systems, and components.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and prepare engineering products, including design/engineering change packages, specifications, calculations, and technical evaluations.
- Oversee contracted engineering work to ensure consistency with company and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and oversight for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing and Simulations.
- Interface with equipment suppliers and project stakeholders to conduct technical reviews.
- Support the construction/implementation phase, including design updates and resolution of technical issues.
- Report project status to engineering team leads, project managers, and leadership.
Required Skills
- Proven specification, technical, and engineering writing skills.
- Familiarity with 50.59 evaluations (or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with Industrial Control Systems (DCS, PLC) and associated control devices, computers, communications, and networks.
