Material Handling Position 2nd Shift
Location : Westfield, IN
Shift : 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM CST (2nd Shift)
Duration : One Year (Possible Extension / Conversion Based on Performance)
Job Overview :
This Material Handling position is within the Structural Heart Division, where quality assurance and control are critical as the products handled are implanted into human hearts and requires working in a clean room environment for 8 hours daily. Training in Safety and Compliance will be provided in the first week.
Primary Responsibilities :
Material Handling & Inventory Management
Fulfill Material Requests from the Clean Room and perform SAP Inventory Movement Transactions.
- Assign materials to production work orders both physically and in SAP.
- Conduct Cycle Counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Clean Room & Quality Focus
Handle medical device products (some as small as a strand of hair) with extreme attention to quality and detail.
Perform Daily 5S Activities to Audit Standards-cleaning, organizing, and process improvements.
