Job Summary :
The Material Handler will safely operate various machines and equipment involved in inventory management of manufacturing materials and finished goods.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Safely operates machinery in accordance with specifications and directions. Assigned machines may include cardboard bailers, forklifts, and similar equipment
- Be able to manually sort inbound manufacturing material (i.e., cardboard) by identifying usable and unusable supply and handling accordingly
- Be knowledgeable and skilled to work in multiple areas of the material handling process
- Process the required quantity of materials within established specifications and tolerances
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and
routine adjustments when possible and escalates to leadership and / or maintenance for support
