POSITION TITLE : Office Manager
DEPARTMENT / PROGRAM : Family and Community Services, Inc. - Michigan
REPORTS TO : Program Manager, Assistant Director or Director
SCHEDULE : Part-Time (TBD)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES :
To manage and coordinate all office functions as assigned.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Answer phone / door and direct clients appropriately.
Coordinate and resolve all building issues.
Order and maintain office inventory.
Complete filing / copying / scanning / mailing / uploading / document tracking, as required.
Utilize computer database systems to enter / monitor case information.
Complete background checks, as needed.
Coordination of recruitment / retention events.
Monitor petty cash / credit cards.
Complete check requests and deposit checks, as needed.
Maintain office organization and cleanliness.
Collect and submit staff mileage.
Perform all other tasks as needed and / or assigned.
Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :
1.Must be self-sufficient, organized, and able to work independently and communicate effectively.
2.Must have a basic knowledge of finances and financial programs.
3.Ability to navigate computer systems comfortably.
4.Be of good moral character and demonstrate emotional stability, and professionalism.
5.Must not show any evidence or indication of the following behavior, which would constitute immediate grounds for dismissal.
- Any convictions involving child abuse or neglect
- Location on the Central Registry
- Any participation in the abduction, sale, or trafficking of humans
- No unethical conduct impeding the best interest of children
- No felonies involving harm or threatened harm to an individual within the 10 years immediately preceding the date of hire
6.Valid Michigan Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable.
7.Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground and central registry checks.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL / LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum of a high school diploma required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Previous office management experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Position may require lifting of up to 20 pounds. Position is primarily stationary; employee must be able to sit for long periods of time.
